Then and Now, Cuyler-Damen

1907–Cuyler Avenue @ Robey Street (Damen Avenue), view east

2022–the same location

A nice, quiet neighborhood on the North Side.  No traffic on the street, except for a horse-drawn wagon down the block.  In 1907 most of the houses here were less than twenty years old.

Still a nice neighborhood today, but not as quiet with all of those horseless carriages.  Nearly all the houses from the older photo are still in place, aging gracefully.
