Yet another photo from the Chicago Park District traffic survey of the 1930s. Another view of the Yates Bog. I wonder what the photographer who had to troop out into the marshy wilderness to take the photos thought of the assignment?
Today all a photographer has to do is get out of the car in this pleasant neighborhood and snap away for a minute or two, then edit the shots at home on the computer. I love digital cameras!
