My thanks to Garry for bringing these facts up in the “Comment” box. That got me thinking about another bit of Chicago street trivia–“Which street intersects the same ‘L’ line four separate times?”
The answer is Lincoln Avenue. Here are the four places where Lincoln crosses under the Brown Line–
The address numbers are only approximate. And please don’t tell me that–technically–the last photo is really the Red Line, which Brown Line trains happen to share. In that event, I’ll have to revise the question to ask “What ‘L’ line crosses the same street four separate times?”
